Important Insurance Update: UnitedHealthcare

Effective November 16, 2025, our office will no longer be contracted with UnitedHealthcare or its subsidiaries.

This decision was not made lightly. Over time, UnitedHealthcare has increasingly denied or restricted necessary treatments, delayed payments, and placed limits on essential care such as x-rays, adjustments, and visit frequency. These restrictions interfere with our ability to provide the quality of care you deserve.

Our top priority is, and always will be, your health and personal care.

What This Means for You

  • You can continue your care with us without interruption.
  • Our self-pay pricing is affordable and often comparable (or less) than what you currently pay through UHC.
  • You can still use HSA and FSA funds for your treatments.
  • We offer payment plans when needed.
  • If you wish, you may submit your claims to UHC directly for possible out-of-network reimbursement (we’ll provide a “superbill”). ·

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you leaving UHC?

UnitedHealthcare’s policies have limited our ability to provide essential care (like diagnostic x-rays and full body adjustments) and frequently denied or delayed claims. By stepping away, we can keep your care patient-first, not insurance-controlled.

Will my costs increase?

Not necessarily. Many patients find that their out-of-pocket costs are the same or even less than what they would have paid in-network.

Can I still use my HSA/FSA?

Yes! Both HSA and FSA funds can still be applied to your treatments here.

What if I already have visits scheduled past November 16?

We’ll continue your care without interruption. Our team will review your plan and explain your payment options in advance.

Can I still submit to UHC?

Yes. We’ll provide a superbill you can submit to UHC for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement varies by plan and is not guaranteed.
